About Me

I found yoga while healing from chronic back pain. It transformed how I move, breathe, and live. My classes blend evidence-informed movement, breathwork, and accessible philosophy.

My meditation teaching draws from medical research and the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and Dr. John Yates. I offer a clear, accessible roadmap to how the mind works in meditation, bridging modern science and traditional insight to help students cultivate awareness and ease.

I am classically trained in piano and have released original music as a singer-songwriter; that musical sensitivity now guides my sound work to help others heal through vibration and tone.

Why aren't you on social media?

Stepping away from social media was a conscious choice. After reading The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt and learning how digital platforms heighten anxiety and distance us from real connection, I chose to focus on presence instead.

My work centers on slowing down, listening deeply, and fostering genuine human interaction—the kind that can’t be scrolled past.

Do you offer online or in-person classes?

I currently teach in-person classes at local studios and for private sessions. I believe embodiment is best cultivated through real presence, i.e., away from screens and distractions.

How do private sessions work?

Private sessions are a space for personal attention and growth. We begin with a short conversation to understand your goals—whether you’re looking to improve flexibility, recover from injury, deepen your meditation, or create a grounding home practice. Each session is thoughtfully designed for your body, experience, and rhythm of life.

Sessions are held in person in the Peninsula / South Bay area, either at a local studio or in your home. I also travel for private groups, corporate sessions, and special events upon request.

I’m pregnant. Can I still join your classes?

Yes! I’m a certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) and specialize in supporting students through pregnancy. Prenatal yoga builds strength, improves comfort, and fosters connection with your body and baby. Please let me know your trimester before class so I can offer supportive modifications.

How should I prepare for a class or private session?

Try to avoid eating a large meal right before class and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in, silence your phone, and bring an open mind. If you have any injuries or conditions, let me know before we begin so I can adapt the practice for you.

Do you travel for events or corporate sessions?

Yes. I offer customized yoga, meditation, and sound sessions for corporate wellness, private groups, and special events. Please reach out through the contact form with your event details.

What is your training background or lineage?

My yoga practice is rooted in the teachings of Jennifer Prugh and Noell Clark, and refined through studies with Sarah Powers, Briohny Smyth, Leslie Howard, and many other inspiring teachers.

My meditation draws from Jon Kabat-Zinn and Dr. John Yates, uniting contemplative traditions with modern research to explore how the mind heals through presence.

My sound work is inspired by Carrie Burr and David Gibson, weaving intuitive musicianship with the crystalline resonance of the bowls to restore harmony and calm.

Do you teach meditation or sound baths separately from yoga?

Yes. I offer standalone meditation and sound healing sessions, both privately and at select events. You can find upcoming workshops in the Practice with Me section or contact me directly to inquire about private bookings.
